Safety Policy

Preference First Aid is committed to a strong safety program to protect its workers, its property, its clients, their workers and the public from accidents.

Management, supervisors and all employees, including any sub-contractors, are responsible and accountable for the company’s overall safety initiatives.  Preference encourages and values client and employee input in all aspects of our safety program.  Complete and active participation by all Preference personnel, in every activity, is necessary for the desired safety standards we expect.

Management expects participation in the safety program by all employees and will provide proper equipment, training and procedures to carry out the daily activities.  Employees are responsible to be familiar with and follow all procedures, safe work practices and strive to improve safety at the worksite.

All employees are expected to know and comply with applicable regulations and acceptable industrial codes of practice.  All employees should be familiar with the Work Safe OH&S Acts and Regulations they have been provided with.  Preference provides its workers with access NCSOs at all times should they have any concerns or questions that need clarification in regards to health and Safety issues.

An injury and accident free workplace is our goal.  Through continuous safety and loss control efforts, it can be achieved.
